I bought a new kit today and I felt inspired to use it before our Mexico vacation (coming VERY soon!) This is Kristin Aagard's new Ocean Deep kit.

We are getting into some really interesting stuff now - more stuff with textures and overlays. The results are so cool, but I don't know if I would have the time to actually do any of this to my pictures!! maybe for a special picture here and there...

This technique is subtle, but pretty cool - it's an edge burn. The first picture is the before..

and the "after" shot is darker around the edges.
