It was just the best thing that I got that new battery - we took a camping trip to down to Hocking Hills and I got to use my laptop the whole trip in the truck. I got a lot of scrapbooking done - even though the ride was a little bumpy!
Inspiration comes from the most unusual places - tonight it was the fact that I got a new laptop battery! YAHOO! My old battery was dieing after just 15 minutes, so I was pretty limited and had to drag my charger around. But my super fabulous hubby snagged me a new battery off Ebay and I'm free again! So here I sit watching Leno and finishing up this scrapbook page. Life is good :)
After folding all of this week's laundry I had a few minutes so I spent a little time making this 365 page. I thought I was working on August, but then I realized it was still July dates - and September is tomorrow! oh well..
For our Cancun trip I'm going to devote a whole page in the 365 project for each day, instead of trying to pick my favorite 7 shots for the whole week! But I'm keeping it very simple with this basic layout for each day...
whew! I'm all caught up again... until Thursday rolls around. :( At least we are over the hump with this project, it's all an easy downhill trip from here. I think...
Yahoo, look at me! I completed this page in less than an hour. Mostly while Pico my kitten jumped across my keyboard and chewed on the cables to my laptop. What an accomplishment! I love the colors in this fun kit from Flergs (her blog is here). I really like her stuff, and this kit was free!
Check out how Zack is examining the bottom of the recliner chair - he always want to know "how it works". That's my boy!!
Week 20 - moving right along now. I styled this after a page from Conde Nast Traveler magazine! how fancy huh? haha When I got done I realized I hadn't done week 19 yet either, so here it is too...
I'm not sure what I've been doing lately, (that is, besides taking pictures everyday!!) but I'm so far behind on my scrapbooking. Here is Week 16, from back in April! I wanted to get this done so quick that I just left the sample lines from the template on there :)
